Meg is passionate about improving the lives of teachers, students, and community members through mindfulness and positivity. She believes happiness is a moral obligation and, through gratitude and positive psychology interventions, we can flourish and create change in our communities. Meg holds a B.A. from the University of Dallas and an M.A.T. with an emphasis in Positive Psychology from Colorado College. She was Cheyenne Mountain High School’s Teacher of the Year (2014), completed Mindfulness‑Based Stress Reduction (2018), and joined the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute Class of 2023. She also served as President of the National Charity League (2000–2002) and was a foster parent from 1995 to 2000.
Jeff has taught at Cheyenne Mountain High School for 21 years, where he leads courses in Economics and the positive psychology class Mindfulness, Positivity, and Well‑Being. He earned his M.A.T. from Concordia University and a Graduate Certificate in Secondary Economic Education from UCCS. Jeff is the lead facilitator for Cadet Health and Personal Skills at the U.S. Air Force Academy and was the Koelbel Enterprising Teacher of the Year for Colorado (2019). Outside the classroom, he follows Oregon Ducks football and extols the virtues of Pickleball.
Dinner will be provided by Modern Market Eatery with a mix of protein and vegetarian options, plus non‑alcoholic beverages including tea, seltzer, and water.
