Emergency Preparedness

In today’s world it is imperative to keep your patients and employees safety as a top priority by being prepared for any type of emergency.  The Practice Renewal Team with El Paso County Medical Society, powered by ProPractice can work with you to write the office’s Emergency Preparedness Plan.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) now requires 17 provider types to have an Emergency Preparedness Plan in place and to participate in emergency preparedness training and testing exercises annually.  Please contact us at (719) 591-2424 or schcc@epcms.org for information on upcoming emergency preparedness training and exercises with the South Central Healthcare Coalition.
