Colorado Medical Society Alliance

Since 1922, the Colorado Medical Society Alliance (CMSA) has been a proactive volunteer organization working with the Colorado Medical Society (CMS). We are a statewide component of the county, state, and national network of volunteers that comprise the American Medical Association Alliance. Today's Alliance includes men as well as women, physicians as well as spouses.  It includes physicians and spouses who are entering the medical profession or retired or at any career milepost in between.  It includes members who are committed to building healthy families in safe communities.

Our mission is accomplished through volunteers in county, state and national organizations who are actively involved in health promotion, legislative advocacy, and medical education fundraising and membership development.

The medical family can find invaluable resources through the Alliance as detailed under the four core value headings.  Through its many resources and accomplishments, most members find their true benefit is participating in an organization that can speak out on the issues affecting the family of medicine in communities nationwide.
